First full hour run
« on: July 22, 2012, 09:20:30 AM »
Today's run was awesome.  After a 5 minute walking warm up, I met up With my wife and we ran the first 15 minutes together.  Running together picked up my pace.  We were on the trail so I'm not sure about the pace but I'd say we were going about 9:00 per mile. I did slow a little after we split up but then started to pick it up again at 40 minutes until I was running fast for me me over the last 3/4 mile and I got to my finish line at 1:01:51, for a 5 minute walking cool down. Yippie!  I'm a runner again

Right now I'm home icing both hips,  they both felt perfect during the run.  The left felt a little solid after the finish and the right felt absolutely perfect.

MaryEllen, how are you doing?  Are you starting to see any progress in the right direction with your running?  I hope so.  It all comes in baby steps and then it's just there.
