What's your Harris Hip Score?
« on: November 06, 2012, 10:14:06 AM »
I came across this online resource to measure hip functionality.

I scored 71, which seems to be in the "normal" range 8 weeks after surgery.

My score of my functionality before surgery was in the 35-45 range.

Flexion is how far you can bring your knee to your chest while the other leg is flat on the floor.

Abduction is how far you can lift your leg out to the side.

Adduction is how far you can bring your leg inwards/across the other leg.

External rotation is how far you can rotate your leg outwards.

99.875?  Of course, measured by me, not by a pro.
