BHR in Pittsburgh
« on: November 10, 2012, 07:42:54 PM »
I had my BHR done in Pittsburgh and my surgeon was excellent. I am back to my usual 7-10 miles runs without problems. Magee Hospital in Pittsburgh has package price for BHR, what is very reasonable for US doctor, also to have only one bill to pay was helpfull. Dr. Plakseychuk was my surgeon, he has done over 400 hip resurfacings since 2007. I like the hospital, spend 2 days there and had no problems. I would recommend this location
Happy BHR patient

That's strange, the end of 2007 I thought the only group that was doing HRs was Ari Pressman.  Which group is that doctor with?

I had my surgery at Magee Womens Hospital of UPMC, however when I was preparing for surgery Dr. Plakseychuk was working at Department of orthopaedic Surgery at University of Pittsburgh, and since summer he is part of Bone and Joint Center at Magee hospital, also, I think, international package, is a new one and I was one of the first ones from abroad.
