Different prayers for my daughter
« on: December 06, 2012, 12:35:55 PM »
Ok, as many of you know from my previous post my daughter, Kristin was undergoing some tests for cancer, she has since been diagnosed with stage IIB Hodgkin''s Lymphoma, tomorrow, Kristin begins her long road to recovering from this cancer with Chemo therapy at the Hillman Cancer center tomorrow. We're asking that everyone pray that the Chemo works well on the 3 cancerous lymph nodes and that the medicines do no damage to Kristin's organs and minimal damage to her blood cells. Thank you all in advance for your prayers and thanks for your past prayers. This will be a long Winter I am afraid but we're looking forward to a cancer free Spring.

Chuck,

The Hillman Center is as good as it gets for cancer treatment, so you know your daughter is in good hands.

Sending all my positive thoughts and energy to you and Kristin.

Consider it done.  I hope you are also okay through this.

For what it's worth....a good friend of ours had Stage IV Hodgkins about 5 years out of college.  She's been cancer free for nearly 20 years since, and has two lovely sons.

Prayers to your family.

Chuck

I am sorry to hear your daughter must go thru such treatments, but happy that it usually will solve the problem.  I know it will be difficult, but you have to plan ahead with a positive attitude as you have.

I will keep your daughter and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

Chuck, you and your daughter will be in my thoughts and prayers.  She is in a good place with good doctors.  Come springtime, it will be like a new life for your whole family.

I wish the best for you and your daughter.  Stay positive.  I'm sure you've got other things on your mind, but if you need any side-tracking, we're here to help out with all of our debating and discussing of HR.    ;)
