Crossfit???
« on: December 07, 2012, 02:02:38 AM »
Any Crossfitters out there? I had my first Crossfit workout and loved it. I realize there are a number of exercises that I will probably want to modify to reduce impact with my hips but I am planning on going back for more. Wondering about anyone's  experiences that has returned to or started Crossfit.

Google it (links are not allowed).  Crossfit does a lot of work on core, upper body, legs etc.  Terrific variety of exercises.  Think P90X but with different workouts, different levels and all in a group setting.

I've done crossfit, its excellent.  A couple of good friends of mine are CF instructors, one of who has her own CF shed full of torturous equipment.  I just started doing P90X to help get back into competitive sprinting shape, but plan on returning to Crossfit at some point.

Sounds like a trainer I listen to at the Y keeping a class "motivated"  I take time to spend stretching and then so less intense core exercises.  Core is the key.  Hope you enjoy
