Surgery in 2 weeks
« on: April 05, 2013, 01:54:49 PM »
I am planning on having surgery in 2 weeks and was just curious if anyone developed any back issues before surgery and did it resolve with the surgery. I feel it developed due to my arthritic hip.

Hi, welcome to the site!

You'll find that many of us did develop back issues from the OA, and many had it resolve after the surgery.

If you search the threads using the search tool, you'll see a lot of posts to that effect, including mine. I had severe muscular (I thought) problems with my back - all gone now, and fairly quickly afterwards.

It's just one point of information, but yes, I did.

Hi
I did have terrible back pain, maybe worse than my hip pain!
The day after surgery it was gone.
Amazing.
Obviously this shows how the body needs to be perfectly aligned
to stay healthy.

thanks for the feedback. I have been stressed thinking i have a real back issue and have become sedentary and just doing physical therapy. My hope is that it will resove with the surgery.
