Not sure if this is covered alsewhere but what aids are needed post op. I.e.  crutches , walking frame and others on release to your home?

I found the following to be very useful:  crutches (I graduated to using a crutch and walking pole quite quickly), raised toilet seat, sock putter on-er (not sure of the technical name), long handled shoe horn.  I also received a long strap with a loop on the end from the hospital that was useful for getting my operated leg on the bed in the first few weeks post op.

Lastly, I found having a recliner at home was very helpful in the first few weeks.  Good luck for a speedy recovery.
