HR and Fertility
« on: March 30, 2014, 08:49:12 PM »
A Doc I consulted with recently had some concerns about HR and the effects the metal might have on mens fertility.
Seems like a stretch but he put a little pressure on it.  Curious about men here and childbearing after HR.
I think a few stories from you experienced hippies/Dads may help clarify that issue/fear for me.
Thoughts?

thanks!

Hi Tony

Interesting topic.  There is so little about women and pregnancy with resurfacing. I don't think I have ever heard any discussions at the hip courses about men and fertility.

Normally they ask a woman to wait a year before becoming pregnant.  The chromium and cobalt levels drop after a year, so I would think that would be applicable to men and women.
