Welcome Back

The Hip Talk Discussion Forum was hacked a few weeks back. It has taken me a long time to fix it. The only backup I could use was way back to April 2020. All members and posts up to that date are available. Anything newer has been lost. I am sorry, but that has been the only way to get things up and running again.

Stay Focused - It only gets better
« on: August 19, 2014, 09:43:24 PM »
It has been a while since I posted here.  As I crossed the finish line of my recent International Tri this weekend, I thought about all the help that got me there. Surface Hippy was such a great support in my bi-lateral journey.  The advise, compassion and expertise helped me make it through and I will always be grateful.

For many of you about to get your first HR , it only gets better.  A few months ago someone contacted me. He assumed the reason I stopped posting was that I hurt myself or had a leg amputated.  Why would he think that?  If anything, If i had a problem, SH is the first place I'd come.

I am four weeks away from my second IM since bi-lateral.  Keep focused Hippies - it only get better. My story: ironman4youth.blogspot.com

Great post - what a tremendous recovery.

Good luck in your second Ironman - what a test for one resurfacing, let alone two.

Awesome!! great to here about your achievement. Looking back I see Dr Mc Minn only designed the HR for 10 years pre - 65 (from 55 to 65 years) so  the design is out living its name by a long shot.
Be great to here of your next achievement.
