6 year HR anniversary with Prof. Cobb 2010
« on: January 31, 2016, 07:55:59 AM »
Hi to all hippy friends old and new- just checking in to say my fantastic HR was six years old yesterday. I celebrated with a 20k bike ride followed by a 2k swim- rainy day so I'm off to Hampstead Heath for one hour mixed walk/ run.
Time of year again to thank Pat and the other pioneers of HR.
Cheers
Toby
Ps Saw my surgeon last year for X-rays and bloods and his protocol is next check up at 10 year mark

Great news Toby, and you have had a surprisingly similar day to me to celebrate - 6k run, 20k bike and 2k row, all indoors because of the weather. Hope mine lasts the next 5 years at least!

Great to hear.  Keep up the good work.  I'll be at 5 years in November.  I'm working this body pretty hard and 99% of the time I can't even tell that I'm a bilateral hippy.  Every once in a rare while I feel something in my left glutes.  Rest of the time, I can't even tell.

it is so great to get our lives back and be able to be active, enjoy life, and be pain free!

lets hope we get another decade or two or MORe out of our hips!!
