Dr Chris Whately - Dubai
« on: August 24, 2016, 03:59:07 PM »
Hi guys,

I'm new on this forum. I would be more than happy to write a post to present myself, but I could not find the appropriate section.

I'm 38 years old, always done martial arts. I now live in Dubai (originally from France).
Thanks to this forum, I've seen that Dr Whately does hip resurfacing in Dubai.

I've met him and he took a very long time to reply to my questions and explain everything. He made me a very good impression, to be honest.
Considering my case, he thinks I am a perfect candidate for hip resurfacing.
He uses metal and cobalt-chrome prosthesis.

I think I'm done suffering and managing my activities to avoid pain. I am really considering operation.
But, I would like to choose a great doctor who uses the best materials and with the best technics.
So I would like to try to get some information before picking my surgeon.

Do you know this Doctor ?
Do you know other doctors that could do hip resurfacing in Dubai ?
Do you have some advices or things to add to help me ?

Thank you very much

no comment on surgeon but would note that one who seems held in high regard, Dr Bose, is probably quite accessible from Dubai, being in Chennai. And if cost is an option then I think he is a good value option too.

Hi ,

Thanks for your reply and for mentioning Dr Bose. Having a quick look at him, apparently, Dr Bose is very good.
Honestly, I did not think moving to another country could be an option, but maybe I could consider it.

Do other people know good doctors in Dubai for hip replacing ?

Thanks a lot
