Well, 11 days and counting before my surgery.  It's now become real and I'm getting some items together that I will need.  I think I have it covered unless someone can recommend a much needed necessity I just can't be without.  Toilet riser, non slip mat in bottom of shower, crutches, Ice machine.  I'm just trying to figure out what type of shoes to wear?  THey told me slip in shoes.  I would say slip in with a reliable sole - any ideas?  I have my slip in running shoes, no laces that need to be tied.  Is that what they are talking about?

Sounds good. I wore a pair of LL Bean moccasin/loafer type shoes. Slip on with no slip soles. I graduated to flip-flops once I got home. Not the cheap ones, but ones with real soles, like rugged flip flops.


Slip on shoes with non slippery soles.
