Went in to check my left knee with the surgeon (turned out to be a deep contusion of the tibia head, just a couple of months of downshifting activity).
But I figured I'd check the hips as well, for my (almost) nine year anniversary.
The hips looked great, had blood work done for Cobalt (I guess they just track that now in that office), it came back at 1.0 with both hips.
So the progression has gone : First test - Chromium 3.4, Cobalt 3.1, After four years - Chromium 1.7, Cobalt 1.1 and now after nine years - Cobalt 1.0
Having both hips done and the bar being to stay under 7, it is very good news.
I understand that some of us have challenges after the surgery, all the way up to revisions, but my hopes are that all of you have happy and successful outcomes.
Thanks again to Pat for her tireless work for us and my best wishes for all hippies, new and well seasoned.
