Doing great 4 weeks in , I am crutch free at 3.5 weeks, meds free and doing 5 miles a day now , still some muscle soreness at the end of the day but movement and joint mobility is great. The second hip has gone very smoothly and I have got back to near normal very quickly this time compared to the first, perhaps as I knew what to do. Gym yesterday to do upper body and use the indoor cycle getting back into shape feels really good , cycle feels really good.
Top Tips:
Bio oil the scar
do your exercises little and often
do not rest up too much keep moving
trust the new hip do not worry
look after you knees early on they may ache after the op and kid you they are also broken, they are fine !!
