tommorrow's the day
« on: December 21, 2008, 07:29:54 PM »
Hi Everyone,
Well, my husband is scheduled for tommorrow.  He is so excited to finally see this day.  We made it to NY despite all the snow.  He is so ready to be pain free.  Last week when getting his preop testing, etc done, he was able to talk with others-- one who is having his second one.  Everyone we have spoken with has been very positive and just raves about the surgery and subsequent relief.

Thank you to all of you for your support, and encouragement.  We'll keep you posted.

Good luck for tomorrow.
I am 2 weeks post op tomorrow from my 2nd surgery on my Left hip. Right side was done 10 weeks ago. I can confirm that the pain relief has been unbelievable and the range of movement I now have in my joints incredible. I am already starting to forget that I had surgery on my right side. I have no regrets and am so much looking forward to getting back to a normal life.
This site has been very informative and supportive. Give your husband my best wishes and keep us posted on his progress.

Eileen,
I hope your husbands surgery went well and woke up without that artritic pain anymore. Just sore from the surgery is much better than that other pain. What a christmas present ;D.
