Firefighters who had hip surgery

I am looking for any active duty firefighters that have had this surgery and returned to work.  I am curious as to obstacles encountered in returning to work and how those were handled and enabled you to return to work.  I am to young to retire and I am afraid to have this done not knowing if I would be able to return to work.  Any information would help.  You can email me at  aerial311@gmail.com

Hi there, not a firefighter, but there are some personal stories posted here and on some other websites. If you type "fire" into the search at the top of the page (making sure you're in the main forum directory), you'll see some results for fire-fighters.
