Hip Dysplasia and resurfacing

I located a study Dr. Gross published on hip dysplasia and resurfacing, titled "Prevalence of dysplasia as the source of worse outcome in young female patients after hip resurfacing arthroplasty" (Gross, T.P., & Liu, F., 2011).  The paper is published in International Orthopeadics.  Dr. Gross mentioned this study when I had my appointment with him last month but I just got around to locating it through my campus library. In this paper he found that (for females) dysplasia is a more important risk factor than component size or female gender.  He suggests rather than ruling out HR on females with dysplasia attention needs to paid to using components with supplemental fixation, placing cups at lower inclination angles and potentially grafting defects.  I know I am way over simplifying the paper here.  I wanted to attach the study but the file is too large and it is probably illegal!  As a layperson, if you have dysplasia I really recommend (1) reading this paper and (2) quizzing your sugeon to make sure he/she knows how to potentially adapt HR to a dysplasia patient.  This was one of my concerns when thinking about HR and having mild dysplasia.

Dr Su and my doc said that I have mild displaysia and that could be the reason for the early arthritis.  My doc said that he was going to put the cup at some angle?  Do not know what it was, but I trusted him.  anyway you can email me that paper?
