1 week post op

Well it's been 1 week since my surgery. On day 3 they sent me to rehab hospital. I will be home on Wed. Physical therapy 3 times a day. Was able to use walker today.I"m still taking a norco every 4 hours. First couple of days were a nightmare but for the most part I"m feeling much better. Wife made pot of chili for Bears game last sunday and had a bunch of friends up so that was fun. Can't wait to get home.

I meant to say able to use cane today. Been using walker since couple hours after surgery.

Mitch ...way to go ...welcome to the "other side" as we say. You will see improvement every single day. Follow the docs orders and play it safe. Your new equipment is an investment in your future. Congratulations !

They let me come home today and be it ever so humble theres no place like home. :) The rehab has been going really good. The hospital called 3 hours after I was home and said the physical therapist would be here starting tomorrow, I couldn't believe it.i will have home visits untill I get staples out on 14 or up too 1 month then I can drive myself. 26 staples. bandage over incision is 4" X 14" (big cut ). will post more later
