From what I've read, I see Mountain Goat, Imgetinold, Mslendizon, HippyLiz, and myself having January Hippy Surgery.  Who else is out there starting the New Year off with a New Hip?

Yep, two weeks now. I have my pre-op physical tomorrow. Bright and early 5:40am check-in on the 23rd!

Getting ready to get my L hip resurfaced by Dr Gross on 1/11/12 if pre-op exam goes as planned. Just hanging in the hotel counting the hours!

Good luck!! I hope you feel well enough to post after your surgery -- I'll be interested in hearing about your experience. Do you have to travel a far way to get home?

I just had my LHR done on 12/27 with Dr. Pritchett and I am back to work today, so I am starting 2012 with a new hip.  So far so good and I am also a woman.  Davina

My one year anniversary is coming up on February 11.  This time last year I was nervously counting down the days.

Be sure and take it as easy as possible as you start back to work. Well - as easy as you can. Be sure to ice, rest, and elevate. Especially after PT sessions!
