Twas the night before surgery
and I just jumped on line,
looking for "best wishes"
and to beef up my spine.

Blood has been drawn
and tests all been run.
By this time tomorrow
my hip will be done.

A new "Surface Hippy"
will be here at last.
My wife's only concern,
"What can be done for his gas?"
