Has anyone else watched the maureen berry video on the mcminn centre website? This lady has a MOM THR thats ove r40 years old and a BHR thats 15 years old!! Very promising

Just proves the long term data behind the BHR. The BHR has the advantage of no stress shielding so it really makes me feel more confident!!  :)

Kiwi from reading the development and clinical results of the BHR written by mcminn and Treacy in 2000. The main reason why the early MOM thr's failed was because the engineering tolerances were too slack(but they didn't know it at the time) the devices that were engineered perfectly lasted and are still going strong and the ones that were engineered poorly failed. Obviously that's no longer a problem.  ;) so really there should be many many BHR's lasting longer than those THR's!
