Hip Resurfacing in Mexico?

I am a new member. I live in Mexico....I have just had a consult w/an ortho surgeon of sports medicine. He said this process of bone resurfacing is fairly new in Guadalajara, where I would have the surgery. My problem is that he has only done this procedure on 3 patients, & he will be giving me their numbers to phone them. He also wants to do both hips at the same time. I would appreciate ANY comments offered. I will consult with him again on tues. the 27th. I'm very active, 60, but a young 60, in terrible pain.
