I am scheduled for May 6th to have my rt hip resurfaced.  It will be done via a direct [to slightly lateral] anterior approach [DAA].  I feel that I am well versed on the procedure and the supposed advantages vs. a posterior approach.  That said, I wondering if anyone who has had a DAA can comment on their experience.  Thankls in advance...
