Anyone know if it is ok to have ultrasound around the hip area after hip resurfacing?

My PT is giving me some at the minute due to some scar tissue and when I asked her she seemed a bit unsure and we stopped half way through just in case the pulses or heat would cause any issues?

Anyone had this around the implant area?  Any issues?

My PT is going to try find out for me but would like some opinions from people who have had resurfacing.
