Does anyone else get some sensations of heat in the hip muscles?

I have been getting them for some time.  Specifically I have noticed them more now that I am running and pushing on the bike more.  They seem to be mostly in the upper gluteous in the back.  In addition to running and biking I have been stretching fairly aggressively.

The feeling only seem to last for a few seconds to a few minutes at a time.  I have been writing this off to the muscles recovering.  I have also been icing especially have tougher workouts.

No great alarm yet.  Just wondering if others get the same sensation.

There's a 2" spot in my scar that gets HOT when I work out and thereafter.  I ice and it's still hot.  My PT told me it's the facia still stuck and to continue to massage and work it over as deep as I can.  Now that I can finally feel my glut working, it's not necessarily hot, but it does give me the "hey-I'm working here" sensations now. LOL  Even cramped - yahoo! Progress - there is a muscle in there!
