I pushed as hard as I could...hip felt great...10 days shy of my 1 year post-op.
22 average on the 56 mile bike and was able to run 8:22 pace for the half marathon.

If anyone wants details, I ran 1 mile and walked at least 100 yards every mile for 13.1 through the aid stations.  Fot the entire run I averaged 8:22 so while I was running was able to keep a sub 8 pace. I finished the race and collapsed.

Dave, keep up the good work, and keep on posting.  While I was slugging through a slow, tired run this afternoon.  Thinking that I'll never get back to running well again, I thought ''you have to, you have to catch up to David!''
