kaiser BHR doctor, los angeles

does anyone know of a reputable kaiser doctor with alot of resurfacings to their name? a friend of mine needs his LBHR done soon and he has kaiser. he lives in L.A. (san fernando valley). im trying to help him with info. im 3 years post op with dr. schmalzried on a LBHR. so far so good. im very happy. any info would really help.   thank you,

I think you might have missed my answer the other day.

Dr. Klug is an excellent hip resurfacing surgeons and has a lot of very happy patients.

There are not many in Kaiser that do hip resurfacing that I know of. Dr. Klug does and he is an excellent surgeon.  Most people have to travel to have a hip resurfacing if they want to use the experienced surgeons.

thank you pat. i forgot where i posted the other day but i see your reply here. i will pass on the info about dr. klug. thank you very much. schmalzried did my left hip on 11/2010. i am very happy and doing great. basketball twice a week.. i did my research for a year before my surgery and your site was the biggest help i found. thank you very much pat for helping people all around the world. :)
