3 years post op - severe lower back pain

hi all - I had my right BHR in May 2013. After initial recovery it has been amazing up until about 3 weeks ago I started getting severe lower back pain. This morning woke from the pain and now the pain is specifically around my hip. I can't sit down without excruciating pain although I can stand ok with mild pain. I am going to call my surgeon today as due for my 3 year check anyway but just wondered if anyone else had experienced this as obviously thinking the worst!!

Hi Kate, I have intense adductor pain...feared the worst...X-rays looked perfect...muscular imbalance. Odds are you will be fine with rest and gradual rehab. Hang in. You probably have a lot of years left on your HR.
