Hi everyone!

Just wanted to throw this out there. When Dr Gross told me I was going to be on crutches for 6-8 weeks, I got concerned. I make my living playing piano for voice students and my thumbs get sore sometimes. I know regular crutches can be hard on the hands, so I did some research.

There's a UK company called Smartcrutch and they make super comfy forearm crutches. I've been on them for almost 3 months because of some minor complications, and I could probably use them for another 3 if I needed to, they're so comfy. And they save my thumbs. They're pricey- $130, but I'm so glad I spent the money. They've saved my thumbs and armpits for sure. Just a shout out in case anyone else needs them.

They make them in every color- I got pink ones. I get lots of compliments on them and my students always want to try them. They look like jet packs!

Cheers!
