I fear my acetabular component may be causing a psoas impingement. Has anyone else had this problem and had success with a doctor revising a HR or doing surgery on the psoas? At 3 months, I started having serious groin pain. I kept telling myself it was healing and give it time. At 6 months, my doctor said they were muscles getting used for the first time again. At 9 months, the doctor said the psoas pain might not go away, but all they could do is give me a steroid shot in the muscle.
It's been over a year now. I'm scheduled for an MRI today- but I'd like to know what others have done in this same situation.

Any recommendations for a doctor revising a HR or doing surgery on the psoas? I'd hate to think this is as good as it gets for the next 20 years. I'm in horrible pain if I squat down or walk for more than ten minutes. I walk with a limp most days now because the tendon is catching on something.

Thank you.
