Left hip resurfacing Dr. Pritchett. Endo Tech ceramic coated cementless prosthesis with highly crossed polyethylene liner.
I am 2 weeks post-op and my PT told me to slow down a bit.
Couldn't be happier with dr. Pritchett and his staff and everyone at Swedish Hospital.
I flew in from Michigan on Sunday. Had my pre-op on Monday and surgery on Tuesday. Went into surgery around 9:30 a.m. and checked out of the hospital around 6 p.m., same day. I had an epidural with sedation and don't remember anything. My wife was with me and I could not have had a better caregiver. We stayed in an air B&B nearby, a nice studio with a walk in shower. Second and third days were the most difficult as expected. Had my post-op appointment the following Monday and flew back on Tuesday. I made sure I got an aisle seat so I could get up and stretch periodically. I also wore compression socks.
