11 years 2 days today Dr. Gross

I got an email from Miss Patty today and I looked at the date and I said wow, it's my anniversary + 2 days.

I am 11 years 2 days post op today with Dr. Gross.  I received an uncemented hip replacement that Dr. Gross designed himself, at the time uncemented was fairly new but it made sense to me.  The surgery was pretty easy, I was up and walking that morning, 6 weeks post op I played 18 holes of golf with my buddies and I beat them all which they have never lived down.

If you're in pain, don't wait, it was one of my best decisions although I waited too long.
