Redness below scar

Has anyone had redness starting below the scar. I am 16 weeks post op. I noticed it last week and it seems worse now.
the area is approx 6 sq inches. if I rub it, the normal skin colour returns, and then it goes red again. No pain when Im walking. Any help please?

Could be nothing, but I'd notify my surgeon.

Def. contact your surgeon and they can advise you what to do.  it's impossible for us to speculate but you def. want to rule out any infection as soon as you possibly can.  Keep us posted.
