5 year anniversary!

Five years ago this week I underwent bilateral hip resurfacing surgery with Dr. Gross. I can't believe time has gone by so fast. This was the best medical decision I have every made! Happy Holidays to all of you fellow hippies out there, and to Pat personally. What a great, informative website this was for me when I was initially clueless, and stressing about never enjoying sports again.

Do you notice any difference between your two hips?

Hi Bill,

Not a single difference. I'm telling you, after about 10 months, I completely forgot I even had the procedures done. I guess perhaps there's some very minimal weakness that remains, where the various muscles were cut, as compared to the situation if I had normal, non-surgical enhanced hips.
