Four Year Bilateral Anniversary

Glad and grateful recipient of a successful bilateral HR.  Left hip 9/16/2018, right hip 10/18/2018, Dr. Pritchett, Swedish Hospital, Cross Poly Synovo device.  This procedure allowed me to return to a fully functioning pain free life.  I was 63 at the time of the operations and for anyone facing the choice for surgery, realize all of us dealt with some level of trepidation going forward with such a large surgical procedure but the top doctors are so skilled and experienced and the prosthesis have been so well developed it is absolutely the best choice you can make to get your life back.

I want to thank Pat for getting this forum available to share experiences and learning about HR and the support this community offers others to make such a challenging decision.  It was one of the best decisions I ever made.  At the time of my surgery I could barely walk without crutches, today I am re-building a large deck while completing a home remodeling project.
