I have some hip pain when when I turn, get into a car or tub, when I flinch. Feels pretty good when I walk or sit though. I assume this is normal?

Is this new pain?  I' at 13 weeks and I still have soreness in my hips after some workouts.  I asked the doctor about it and he said that it's because my strength hasn't come back yet.  I'm doing every thing I can to build my strength back up and still go easy on myself as much as I can.

I am 11 months out on the first and still get some pain every now and then.  Especially when  push it too much.

I still get some, hip. The way I see it, the big muscles come back fine, its those pesky stabilizers that need some help.

From my experience at 10 weeks, I would say that it is completely normal. I can remember still having some minor tweaks at six months, less so at one year, and by two years it would be really rare to feel anything unusual.

I haven't had any sharp pains since about 4 weeks post op and those came after I lost my balance and went down on all four. At 8 weeks I have muscle pain sometimes and soreness much of the time, but my normal arthritis pain meds handle that. I have noticed a sharp ache at the "top" of my hip the last few times a rain front has approached. It usually goes away about the time the rain gets here.
