Hi,

I am planning to under go Delta motion THR according to Dr Bose's advice. I am just not sure if I must choose Dr Bose for THR since he is well known for Resurfacing. Has anyone undergone THR from Dr Bose. How was your experience in this surgery from Dr Bose.

           from what ive learnt about hip surgeons ive found that resurfacing surgeons are far more skilled than just thr surgeons. Therefore resurfacing surgeons will also do a better thr than your average thr surgeon.  Remember that hr surgeons do both but most thr surgeons are not good enough to do HR. I know which i would go to!! Id stick with Dr Bose

All of the good hip resurfacing surgeons are also excellent THR surgeons.  Hip resurfacing is a much more diffiuclt surgery in most cases than a THR.  So the hip resurfacing surgeons are heads above the regular orthopedics that do a little of this and that.

Stick with Dr. Bose.  You can't find a better surgeon.
