Just Curious :   I am 8 weeks post op and still put a plastic ice bag on for pain relief quite a bit (2-3 times per day)  Is anyone else doing this ? and should I stop?   I do not want to rely on ice all the time..   Please give me your input on using ice...  Thanks .... ( use for pain, no swelling)

Just MHO, I am not a doctor, but what is causing your pain or is the pain present all the time for no reason at all?

I know your doctor has taken away your restrictions but I would still be careful on how much I push it, if you are causing major pain after a workout you are pushing too hard, back off some. 

Many doctors do not pull a lot of restrictions until 6 months.
