Here is an update of the COC ReCerf resurfacing.  Ceramic on Ceramic Device:

** I have done 250 now. The study is just continuing with over 800 done worldwide.

** Now we have 5 year results. They show no real problems, beside the usual difficulties we have seen with the MOM resurfacing, where placement must be precise and done by an experienced surgeon.

ReCerf is momentarily stopped to evaluate the 500 prothesis that have been done and looking at the 2-3 year results.

There is one revision done because of a failure and that is now being studied closely. As this is still a study, such a case, even if it is only one, has to be looked into fully.
