My health insurance company (VHI) here covered my operation
and costs in full. The total hospital charges inclusive of 6
days accommodation in a private hospital, theatre fees, all
medical services, bloods, drugs, prostheses, and all
consumables appropriate to the procedure cost € 14,520 euro.
The Surgeons charge was € 1,510.67 and the Anesthesia charge
was € 1,050. Everything was covered fully. Giving a total of
€17,080.67euro
