I am having surgery Friday Dec 2nd by Dr. Su on
my right hip. I am a 45 year old male traveling from Indianapolis
because I am lucky enough to be a candidate to have surgery from Dr
Su. I am. 4th Dan black belt in TKD and avid Golfer (6 handicap that
has been going up!).

This site has been great. The stories really help to keep positive
and to know what to expect.

Dr
Su told my wife all went great. I am now a hippy.

In recovery ywaiting for legs to come back to life.

Dr Su and HSS are amazing. This has been great so far.

Dr Su said everything went
text book. I am amazed at how little pain there is.

Walked down hall this morning with walker. If it wasn’t for the
light headiness, I would feel awesome.

I had
surgery Friday with Dr Su and 5 days later I feel so much better you
can’t imagine. I am 45 and played college sports, still golf,
practice TKD, etc.. Right up to the surgery I had doubts and
actually felt like the normal pain was less. Dr Su’s PA made a
comment that stuck in my head when she reviewed my X-rays. As I
looked at dates for 2013 ( wanting to put it off) she commented that
I was bone on,bone, and the longer you go bone on bone the more
potential you have to damage the “good” bone.

I am so thankful I had the surgery and I am even more thankful I was
lucky enough to have it dine BTU Dr Su. After surgery they said I
had severe arthritis and the timing couldn’t have been better.

The surgery was not nearly as bad as I had worried. Pain after
surgery ZERO. I sit here today on Tylenol with range of motion I
can’t believe. I know I have a long way to go. But I have no second
guessing. I am confident I will be better than I ever was and
whatever happens from here it is better today than it was before
2:00 pm Friday December 2ND.

But we all have different post op experiences and while some may be
harder than others I think 98 percent on here would do it again if
they had the option.

Everyone has opinions about everything. Like mine on Dr Su. I think
he is freaking amazing!

If this topic is still alive. I am 9 days post op from Dr. Su and
flew from Indiana. I think Dr Su is the best surgeon in the world.

I too was told in Indiana that resurfacing had lost favor, THR was
just as good, etc….. But at 45 I wanted to find a better option.
Thank god I found Dr. Su.

I did 4
miles today on eliptical and have been able to swim, walk pain free
etc…..m I credit all to Dr Su and his skills.
