Day 7 was able to drive my car… only went about 5 miles though…went to dinner with some business associates that were in town. Drank good wine and had some excellent sea bass. Was tired when I arrived home at 11 pm. 5. Day 9, completed 3rd in home therapy session…graduated to several advanced exercises 6. day 10, walked about 1/2 mile. 7. Day 11, went to park, and walked 1.25 miles – carried cane and used it going down hill. 8. Day 13, drove to the airport, walked about 1/2 mile with bags. Traveled across the US to CA. Used 1/2 of a pain pill for seating comfort. 9. Day 14, went to meeting and tour of 2 vineyards in Napa. Was on my feet for about 3 hours touring and sampling various wines (lots of walking with stairs), then went to dinner. Went to bed about 10 pm. I climbed up and down many sets of stairs without incident. 10. Day 15, traveled back to the east coast without incident. 11. Day 16, graduated to outside therapy beginning on day 20…
I don’t believe that I would have anywhere near the same results if I had a THR. I have never experienced any pain through this whole procedure and recovery period.
