Stuart Sharp is an avid squash coach and private pilot who has been extremely active since his bilateral Birmingham Hip Resurfacings (BHRs) operations.
In 1999, Stuart underwent a right BHR due to osteoarthritis, performed by Mr McMinn. Over ten years later in 2008, Stuart made it a double by having a left BHR, again because of osteoarthritis.
Stuart is delighted with the outcome of his two procedures. “Ten years ago I had my first hip resurfacing and it is in perfect condition, as is my second hip resurfacing.” He has been able to continue his busy life without having to worry about pain in his hips.
Adhering to Mr McMinn’s advice about rehabilitation time before returning to full sessions of squash, Stuart enthuses about his improved agility. “I have no pain, total flexibility, and total manoeuvrability on the squash court.”
