Jim Jenkinson tells us that "all is well" at the six month stage after having a right Birmingham Hip Resurfacing (BHR) operation in 2010 performed by Mr McMinn. Jim is now exercising regularly and not getting any pain at all, continuing his sensible approach to recovery.
This video is part three of a four-part documentary about Jim’s rehabilitation. To see his updates from post-operation, two-months and a year, please visit our website here: http://www.mcminncentre.co.uk/recover…
Jim Jenkinson is back in the gym six months after a right Birmingham Hip Resurfacing (BHR) operation performed by Mr McMinn. Jim feels that there is nothing that he can’t do within reason, whilst remaining sensible and careful with his rehabilitation. He is looking forward to getting back to running and the gradual increase of a low impact exercise routine has helped in leading Jim towards this goal.
Jim was anxious before the operation, as can be expected with any major surgery. All of his pre-operation doubts have been dispelled and after following the recovery guidelines given to him, he is well on the way to being back to normal. Jim said that the outcome of his BHR operation "more than fulfilled my expectations."
He has since become a big advocate for the Birmingham Hip Resurfacing (BHR) procedure. "It completely transformed my life." Jim now uses the gym more than he did before his operation and it is all down to his BHR. "It has been fantastic for me."
