I’m not sure I am contacting the right person, but my name is Bert Eisenstaedt.
I had a resurfacing procedure, December 8, 2006, performed by Dr. Raphael Klug,
located in Roseville, Ca and is a Kaiser orthopaedic surgeon.
I received a BHR. I was on a walker for a little less than a week, a cane for
approximately a week and a half and then I was pretty much on my own |

I just wanted to contribute my info also regarding my surgery with Dr. Klug (Roseville California, just outside of Sacramento California). He performed a resurfacing on my right hip 03Jan2007. Dr. Klug is my HERO! Not only do I feel that he is a top notch orthopedic surgeon but he is also just a downright good human being! He never lost his patience with me even though I |

The anterior approach was used to minimize impact and speed the recovery, and Dr. Klug himself said this is the kind of surgery he would want done on himself. Dearest Pat, my deepest gratitude to you and many others involved in surface hippy and others that are not i.e. surgical table reps. various surgeons thru out the world – Drs. Roberson, Dr. Bose, De Smet, Dr. Hansen, Matta, Brown, the South Carolina Dr. Gross for being a pioneer in resurfacing, Dr. Bala, and others I’m not remembering this moment, and my deepest gratitude has to go to Dr. Raphael Klug.
