Desmond Turner underwent a right Birmingham Hip Resurfacing (BHR) operation in 1998, performed by Mr McMinn. Within a week of surgery, the former Labour MP for Brighton was back in his office and a few days later went to the Lisbon International Expo.

Stephen Ross talks about his left Birmingham Hip Resurfacing (BHR) procedure performed in 2005 by Mr McMinn. Stephen developed left hip pain due to his active lifestyle of competitive ice hockey and squash tournaments. Since his surgery, he is back to playing squash and tennis.

Joan Lindh had a Birmingham Hip Resurfacing (BHR) operation in 1999. Around ten years later, she underwent revision surgery in which her BHR was revised to a Total Hip Replacement (THR).
