I am 2 years down the road I have just run a 5k in 20.47 minutes at my local gym with no pain or discomfort!
I run an under 10 football team which I love and enjoy and my new hip resurface has let me do this without reservation!
I play squash again and won my first game back after 2 and a half years 3-2 ha-ha

I’ve had BHRs on both hips – left 2004, right 2008. In the last weeks before both ops I was hobbling a quarter of a mile for my morning paper, having to take breathers as pain washed over me. I was on anti-inflammatories to help me sleep.

September 10, 2010 I had my left hip surgery on Tuesday of this week. I had many questions prior to the surgery. My advice is to find a good medical team and trust in them to do their job. July 29, 2011 Had my consult with Dr. Su on 7/20 and all went well. Found him to be extremely intelligent, likable, approachable and compassionate. Thanks to you all he said I had surely done my research in asking the right questions and voicing my concerns.
