It has been so long since I reached out to say hi and I apologize for that. Once you get your life back you tend to jump in full blast and not look back. I hung around the surface hippy site for a few years but when the notes became so negative I had to back off. It wasn’t syncing with what was going on in my life post-surgery. I just saw Dr. Rubinstein last week and I thought about you and wondered how you were doing. I am writing to do just that.

I started https://surfacehippy.info in 2005 because I felt people should have information about hip resurfacing. March 6, 2019 One Year AnniversaryI’m happy to say that I’ve pretty much been able to forget about my hip! I had my left hip resurfaced by Dr. Brooks of the Cleveland Clinic 2/26/18. Last week was my one year follow up. X-Rays looked great, everything was where it was supposed to be…so I’ve been released to full activity. I can’t be happier with the results of the surgery. I have been completely out of pain for some time now. It’s seems crazy, but I’m still seeing improvements to my flexibility and stability in my hip one year later.… Read the rest
