I had my left hip hip done in 2005 by Dr. Myron Stachniw in Galesburg, Il., and the left hip the following year. Aside from the occasional flare up of bursitis in my left hip, I have remained very active. My left hip is a resurf. The right hip is a large femoral ball hip replacement.

I have been baffled at all the bad press resurfs have had the past few years. My old surgeon had one person that required a revision, and that was it. And that’s been the past 12 years.
